Don't Speak... write!

I don't know what Gwen and her former bandmates from No Doubt had in mind when they shot this video, but I reckon there's a whole message behind it. At least for me, it not only illustrates what the lyrics try to say, but also connects to what I've been doing lately.

I read that this song is meant to be a goodbye to the relationship between Gwen and Tony, the bass player. In a way, that's what it means to me as well (I said "in a way").

I've been saying goodbye to loads of things these days: old songs, old students, old clothes, old trainers... even my hair's gone! It's like a twisted house warming for the year to come, like setting the context as Communicative Classroom Teachers would describe it.
