Gimme a break

Now it's official: the semester finished!!!

Last week before July break at work wasn't a piece of cake. As per usual, loads of forms to fill out, last-minute changes to next semester's timetable, students doing finals, parents to be contacted... The hardest part, though, was saying goodbye to some of my classes.

Saying goodbye is never easy anyway. Although there are certain moments in life that we ought to do it, even if we don't think it's right (cliche coming...)

I was in two minds whether or not to give up 2 days at CI to work in a public school (explanation: I used to work full time, everyday. Now, I only work there full time twice a week). After all, I would be leaving a good place where I make a fair amount for something that will pay me only half (and will put an end to my free time... at least at the beginning).

The public education is a mess - totally expected. Funnily enough, after all the problems, arguments and unpleasant waste of time, I managed to find a good public school, 10 min from my house. And, once again, "the universe" rubbed on my face how a goodbye can come in handy. Trouble is, I still find it hard to say it (I'll have another go soon).

Holidays coming: so much to do, such a short time... Had to delay my trip to SP, but tomorrow I'll hit the road.
And there's something new coming up...

PS: I know, I could've developed more on some topics, but not now!!!
